STATE MANDATORY PLACEMENT
If you have qualifying ACT or SAT scores from within the past five years for Reading & English and within the past two
years for Math, please supply your score report and we will enter those scores for you. If you have taken qualifying
college-level coursework, you need to supply a transcript to the Advising/Records Department to have that
information entered for you.
Math Placement
Students who have an ACT score of 19 or higher or SAT of 460 are exempt from taking the math assessment. However, students with
an ACT score of 19-22 must take the math portion of the Assessment to place into MAT 121 or higher. Scores must be no more than 2
years old. Otherwise, assessment scores will determine placement.
