KHAN ACADEMY ACCOUNT
STUDENTS AND CLASSROOM TEACHERSSHOULD FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS TO ACCESS THEIR KHAN ACADEMY
ACCOUNT ON THE GISD CLEVER PLATFORM:

Navigate to campus home page
Click on “Academics”
•
On the right column of the Academics
page, click on the “Khan Academy” icon
•
Note: On the iPad, rotate the device to
landscape (horizontal) to see the same
layout as the desktop
•
Click on “Open Resource”
•
Notice that Login Details for both
students and staff are included on this
page
•
Log on to Clever with GISD credentials
o Students:
 User name is SIDNUMBER
 Password is NPin
o Staff
 User name is network ID
 Password is network
password
•
Click on “Khan Academy”
• If asked whether or not user has a Khan Academy Account, Select NO
• If asked for an e-mail address, Select Not NOW (E-mail information can be updated later- Note: Classroom
teacher verification e-mails are currently being captured in the Securence filter)
•
Click on “Subjects” in left hand corner
•
Click on “SAT” under Test Prep
•
Click on “Practice”
•
Select a Practice section, watch the
accompanying video, and answer the 5-10
question practice
