How to get to
Merck Consumer Health
Directions by car
1. Via the A5, coming from the
north; autobahn exit
“Darmstadt/Weiterstadt”:
Leave the autobahn at the exit
“Darmstadt/Weiterstadt”, then follow
the B42 towards Darmstadt.
Continue straight ahead on the B42
(Gräfenhäuser Strasse/later CarlSchenk-Ring) for approx. 4 kilometers.
NOTE: Ignore the single road sign
“MERCK” shortly before the railway
underpass and continue straight
ahead.
Cross the big set of traffic lights over
the Frankfurter Strasse, then turn
immediately right into Marburger
Strasse.
Then take the second turn right
(Schottener Weg).
At the end of the road, cross the tram
lines and turn into Alsfelder Strasse.
The visitors’ parking lot is located at
the other side of the building as
indicated on the street map (page 3).
2. Via the A67, coming from the
north; autobahn exit
“Büttelborn”:
Coming from the direction of Mainz/
Wiesbaden/Köln, leave the autobahn
before Darmstadt at the exit
“Büttelborn”.
Follow the B42 towards Weiterstadt
and later towards Darmstadt.
After crossing the Autobahn A5, follow
the directions via the A5, coming from
the north; autobahn exit “Darmstadt/
Weiterstadt” (see description
under 1.).

the other side of the building as
indicated on the street map (page 3).
3. Via the A67, coming from the
south; autobahn exit “Darmstadt/
Griesheim”:
Coming from the direction of
Mannheim, leave the autobahn at the
exit “Darmstadt/Griesheim” and
continue towards the City Center
(Innenstadt) for approx. 3 kilometers.
In the City Center turn left onto the
B3 towards Frankfurt into Kasinostraße.
After approx. 2 kilometers, turn left
again (towards Frankfurt, B3) into
Frankfurter Straße.
After approx. 300 meters, follow the
tram lines turning off to the right in
the direction of “Messplatz/
Bürgerpark” into Alsfelder Straße.

4. Via the A5, coming from the
south; autobahn exit
“Darmstadt”:
Leave the autobahn in the direction
of Darmstadt.
Then follow the directions via the
A67, coming from the south; autobahn exit “Darmstadt/Griesheim”
(see description under 3.).

the other side of the building as
indicated on the street map (page 3).
5. Coming from the direction Die-
burg/Aschaffenburg on th B26:
At the end of the B26, follow the main
road towards the City Center
(Zentrum) through the underpass for
approx. 500 meters to the next set of
traffic lights, where you continue to
the right towards Frankfurt.
Continue straight ahead, at the next
set of traffic lights cross Dieburger
Straße. After approx. 700 meters
shortly after the sign “Waldspirale”
turn into Friedberger Straße.
After approx. 150 meters, turn right
into Alsfelder Straße.
Directions by train
1. Darmstadt Nord:
Visitors arriving by train from the
direction of Dieburg-Aschaffenburg or
Erbach can already exit the train at
“Darmstadt-Nordbahnhof”.
Then take a No. 6, 7 or 8 tram in the
direction of Darmstadt until the next
tram stop “Rhönring”.
Then change to a No. 4 or 5 tram in
the direction of Kranichstein until the
next tram stop “Messplatz”. This is
directly opposite Merck Consumer
Health.
Alternatively, you can take a 10
minutes’ walk on foot from Darmstadt
Nord.
2. Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof:
Visitors arriving by train at “Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof” (Darmstadt Main
Station) should best take the No. 4 or
5 tram in the direction of Kranichstein
until the tram stop “Messplatz”. This is
directly opposite Merck Consumer
Health.
