Pleasant Valley Press Pleasant VALLEY NURSING & REHABILITATION Monthly Newsletter Resident Spotlight On May 15, 1931, Mr. Bill Peel was born in Clinton, Arkansas. His dad worked at the Duncan Sand Mill, and his mother worked as a housewife. As a young boy, Mr. Peel helped his parents in the garden and enjoyed going to church. He hated going to school and dropped out in the 6th grade. At the age of 14, Mr. Peel moved to Bracey, Missouri where he worked at a cotton gin. He worked there for 40 years. Mr. Peel says he never married, but had a girlfriend that was a famous country singer. Soon after Mr. Peel retired, he moved back to Clinton, Arkansas. Having family that lived in Little Rock, he later moved there also. Mr. Peel has lived in several different places, but now we are grateful he has chosen Pleasant Valley to be his home. He has been with us since February 2012. Raising money For Alzheimer’s August 2013 Pleasant Valley residents and staff have been busy with their fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer’s Association.
