Overview
PROMPT 3 Plus provides the opportunity for
multi-professional maternity teams in the UK
and Ireland to attend two additional ‘standalone’ PROMPT workshops.
Each PROMPT 3 Plus workshop is a half-day
session for multi-professional teams of 4 staff.
During the workshops, teams will be provided
with all the training materials and guidance
required to run their own local courses.
Teams can book to attend one or both of the
PROMPT 3 Plus stand-alone training packages.
Each team should ideally include a clinician
who is from a maternity unit that is already
running PROMPT training (midwife and/or
obstetrician).

Workshop 1: The Pre-hospital PROMPT
Training package:
Management algorithms, implementation tools,
scenarios and videos for the management of
antenatal, birth and postnatal emergencies that
occur outside of the hospital environment
This workshop provides an ideal opportunity
for local paramedics and ambulance staff to
train with local midwives, or for A&E staff to
train with hospital maternity staff to gain skills in
managing maternity emergencies and transfers
in the pre-hospital setting.

Workshop 2: The Undergraduate PROMPT
Training package:
Management algorithms, implementation tools,
scenarios and videos for the management of
antenatal, birth and postnatal emergencies. This workshop provides the opportunity for student
midwives and student doctors to train together
locally, contributing to the vital inter-professional team
working experiences that are required during their
undergraduate training.

All cancellations must be received in writing by the
Conference Office a minimum of 2 weeks before the
course. The College can only refund the registration fee
when all participating delegates per hospital/unit cancel,
we regret we cannot reimburse individual delegates.
An administrative charge of £150 will be made on all
cancellations received 2 weeks or more prior to the
conference. We regret that refunds cannot be issued on
cancellations received less than two weeks prior to the
conference. No refunds will be made for nonattendance
on the course. Please check your confirmation letter for
clarification. Substitutions are welcome at any time.
In the unlikely event the course is cancelled by the RCOG,
we regret we are unable to refund any delegate travel
and/or accommodation costs that have already been
incurred by the delegate or any administration charges
relating to cancellation of travel tickets or accommodation.
Fee and payment
£1,500 (£1,250.00+ VAT) per team of 4 attendees from
maternity units/institutions. All delegates attending this
course must complete an individual registration form and
the forms must be sent together, along with payment
details. Each team should ideally include a clinician who is from a
maternity unit that is already running PROMPT training
(midwife and/or obstetrician). To be invoiced, please complete one registration form
per delegate, companied with a headed letter from your
Trust. This letter should contain the following information
and will only be accepted if it is on official headed paper:
Purchase order number (if applicable), name and date of
course, name of delegates attending, course fee, invoicing
details (name, address, telephone and email of the person
the invoice should be addressed to).
We are unable to accept invoice requests three weeks
before the event. All invoices must be paid by the event date in order for
the delegates to attend, if payment has not been received
by this date the delegates will be asked for payment on
arrival at the College. The RCOG reserves the right
to refuse admission in the event of non-payment. This
fee includes refreshments, lunch and admission to the
lectures, as well as any technical exhibitions. You are not
guaranteed a place until you receive confirmation. If you
have not received confirmation of your place before the
start of the event, please telephone the Conference Office

Visa Information
If you are from a country outside the European Union
you may be required to have a valid visa to enter Britain.
Please check your visa requirements before you book a
place on any of our events and before you travel. We are
unable to refund course fees outside of our cancellation
deadline in the event that your visa is denied or not
received in time for you to travel. More information on
visa requirements is available from the UK Border Agency.
