Minimum 10. DESCRIPTION Herbs like basil, spearmint, thyme and cilantro, and others add fabulous flavor to meals and drinks! Don’t pay high supermarket prices for fresh herbs. Make meals taste better with herbs you’ve grown in your own garden. In this workshop, we’ll cover various annual, perennial, and biennial herbs that can be easily grown in a Long Island home garden and brought to the table. The discussion will include growth requirements and habits, uses in different cuisines and storage. And, you’ll be receiving herb seedlings and seeds to start your own garden collection! Come join us for our spring container workshop. Time to get your hands back in the soil after our long winter hiatus from the garden. Please bring gloves, trowel and pruners.
