Distilled Water Is GREAT At Removing Viruses, Metals And Chemicals! Distilled water is water which has
been heated to the boiling point so that impurities are separated from the water, which becomes vapor or steam at 212
degrees Fahrenheit (100C.). Steam is then cooled and condensed back into pure liquid form. The impurities remain as
residue in the steam kettle of the distiller. You will want to wipe out the steam kettle after each use. This distillation system
removes waterborne biological contaminants such as bacteria, parasites and viruses, organic and inorganic chemicals,
heavy metals, volatile gasses, cysts, and other contaminants. The pure water you get to enjoy contains no solids, minerals,
or trace elements. It is clean, natural, and healthy!! Steam distilled water is the standard by which all other waters are
measured.
Distilled Water Is GREAT For Relieving Arthritis! Our bodies cannot easily assimilate minerals that come from
an inorganic source such as the water we drink. Distillation removes the inorganic minerals out of the water before they can

Technical Info: Some contaminants that have boiling points lower than that of water could carry over, which is why these
distillers are equipped with a safety feature: a volatile gas vent, a design feature which removes most of these
contaminants. For even further protection, each distiller is also equipped with a carbon post-filter to provide you with the
highest quality distilled water with a 99% or higher removal rate of contaminants. Distillation also makes the water closer to
neutral pH, because it removes all contaminants, whether acid or alkaline. If you use municipal water, you NEED to keep a
clean filter, as this is what collects the chlorine. YEAH! Chlorine free water right on your counter! (in the collection bottle of
course!)

For the best taste, distilled water should be cooled and given a shake to re-oxygenate.
The Counter Top Water Distillers make up to four gallons of distilled water a day. After each
gallon, it is recommended to wipe out the boiling chamber; you will see what you are removing from
your water! (Some of us should not look, the residue is GROSS!) It is recommended to use the residue
cleaner to clean the boiling chamber after every 4-5 gallons. It is recommended to change the carbon
filter every 30 gallons. This is important if you live in a city and have municipal water. For those who live
in the country, you can go a bit longer, as your water may not be as contaminated. The units below
come with 6 filters and a small container of residue cleaner.
If you are comparing distilled water to bottled water in regards to the above list, bottled
water only assures removal of chlorine.
If you are comparing distilled water to carbon filters in regards to the above list, carbon
filters only assure removal of: benzene, bromoform, chlorine, herbicides, MTBE, pesticides, THMs,
and VOCs. Carbon filters reduce a few others on the list, but cannot be assured to remove them.
If you are comparing distilled water to reverse osmosis in regards to the above list, reverse
osmosis assures removal of 23 of the items, but not the following: arsenic, bacteria, nitrates and
viruses.
NOTE: Over time, your carbon filters, reverse osmosis, and other water treatment technology will
not compare to distillation. Gradual clogging of these systems will inhibit their effectiveness. Water
Distillation provides purity constantly, year after year after year. The purity of your water is a constant
