OPERATING PRECAUTIONS

Blades are sharp. Use extreme caution during assembly, while operating, disassembly and cleaning.

Do not use if blade is broken, cracked or loose.

Avoid contacting moving parts.

Close supervision is required when ice shaver is used by or near children.

Do not use or store the ice shaver near a heat source.

Do not store the ice shaver in a refrigerator or freezer.

Never place fingers or other utensils into the ice chamber or discharge
areas.

Always check ice chamber for presence of foreign objects before
using.

USING YOUR ICE SHAVER
CAUTION: Your Victorio® Ice Shaver has a sharp stainless steel blade &
ice spikes that can cut and cause injury. Keep fingers clear from blades and
avoid contact at all times when using and cleaning.
Before using for the first time

Wash machine in warm, soapy water. Do not wash in dishwasher.

Fill ice cups with water and place in freezer. When frozen solid, loosen ice block by holding the ice cup in your hand for a few seconds.
(Be sure to make extra ice blocks and store them in the freezer for
future use). Ice cubes may also be used.
How To Use
1. Place an ice block (removed from cup) in the machine or ice cubes.
Position the empty ice cup or small bowl underneath to catch the
shaved ice.
2. Put the lid with handle assembly on the machine, press down and
twist lid clockwise until tight. Turn handle clockwise and apply
downward pressure to shave ice and produce “snow”.
3. Place “snow” in a paper cone or glass, then add your favorite
Victorio® Snow Cone syrup or beverage to create your own frosty
treat.
4. When ice block or cubes are completely shaved, empty out any remaining ice pieces and add a new ice block or cubes to make more
shaved ice.

After each use, shake out any water or ice particles remaining in the
machine. It is not necessary to wash the machine after using ice made
only from water. However, after using flavored ice, wash and dry
thoroughly. Do not wash in dishwasher. When assembling, dismantling, or cleaning, always be careful not to touch the blade or ice
spikes.
COOL & EASY TREATS
Snow Cones
Shave ice directly into Victorio® Snow Cone Cups. Mound tops with additional “Snow” if desired. Dispense your favorite Victorio® Syrup directly on top of the shaved ice. Combine different syrups to create your own
unique flavors. Because the shaved ice is so snowy fine, it absorbs the
flavored syrup instead of it running to the bottom. This gives you a truly
intense flavor sensation, all the way through!
Tip: Use flavored ice cubes for unique snow cone tastes. Freeze fruit
juice, soda, flavored yogurt, or flavored milk into cubes. Shave into cups.
If desired, use Victorio® Syrups for added flavor.
Soft Drink Slush
Use your favorite variety such as cola, root beer, and fruit flavors. Add a
twist of lemon or lime for an added “burst” of flavor.
Fruit Juice Slush
Natural flavorings that are both tasty and good for you. Try apple, grape,
orange, grapefruit, and cranberry or any combination for a special treat.
Rainbow Slush
A colorful and fun treat. Place a layer of shaved ice in the bottom of a tall,
parfait style glass; add flavoring. Add a middle layer of ice; add a different
flavoring. Add a top layer of ice and another flavoring. Garnish with fruit
or paper umbrellas. A great party treat!
Ice Cream Slush
Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the bottom and shave ice on top of it.
Add your favorite flavor of Victorio® syrup on top for a creamy refreshing treat.

Fruit Wonders
Mix shaved ice with fruit juice and either canned or fresh fruits. Try orange and pineapple juice with bananas. A great way to start the day or as
an afternoon pick-me-up!
OTHER SHAVED ICE USES

Shaved ice is a great base when used in other blended drinks and
smoothies.

Combine with fruit, yogurt, or juices for great tasting and healthy
treats.

Fresh shaved ice makes a great ice bed for seafood appetizers, such as
shrimp cocktail.
BLADE ADJUSTMENT
Use extreme caution when adjusting blade.

To adjust how fine or coarse the shaved ice is loosen the 2 screws
(this will require a screwdriver) and move the blade farther into the
chamber for coarse or out for more fine shaved ice. Tighten screws
firmly when you are done.

PROBLEM
Will not shave ice when handle is
cranked
SOLUTION

Not enough ice in chamber
Ice is too coarse or has large chips in
it.
For the finest snow always use the ice
molds to make ice blocks.
If using regular ice cubes it is normal
to get chips or chunks of ice as the
cubes can break up when shaving
Adjust blade to fine setting.
Shaves ice but it is very slow and or
snow texture is too fine.
Adjust blade to coarse setting
Handle is very hard to turn
Check to make sure everything is assembled in the correct order see figure on page 1
Make sure to press down as handle is
cranked.
This is a hand crank ice shaver and it
is normal for it to be hard to crank
especially for small children or people with weak arm strength.

Product Warranty
Victorio Kitchen Products warrants this appliance from defects or failures
in the material and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of
original purchase.
All warranty claims must be accompanied by a proof of purchase and are
only valid if the appliance has been operated and maintained in conformity
with the provided instruction manual.
Any failed part of the appliance will be repaired or replaced without
charge at Victorio Kitchen Products’ discretion. This warranty applies to
household use only.
This warranty is null and void, as determined solely by Victorio Kitchen
Products if the appliance is damaged through accident, misuse, abuse,
negligence or if the appliance is altered in any way.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABLITY, FITNESS FOR
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, PERFORMANCE, OR OTHERWISE,
WHICH ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED. IN NO EVENT SHALL
VICTORIO KITCHEN PRODUCTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, FORSEEABLE, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL ARISING OUT OF
OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS APPLIANCE.
