 Activity: Children will glue zeros
(Cheerios) onto a paper “0”
 Fine-Motor Activity: Children will
drive toy cars on large, masking
tape zero on classroom floor!

“Letters in my Name”
Children will focus on letter sorting with this
delicious activity. Children will receive a baggie
full of Alpha-Bits Cereal and sort the cereal
according to “yes this cereal piece is in my name”
or “no this cereal piece is not in my name”. The
children will have a sentence strip with their
name printed on it to refer to as they sort the
cereal onto the Yes/No chart. After all the pieces
have been sorted, the children will be invited to
eat all the letters for a yummy snack!
