The entire coming channel width in Holmuddsrännan channel has been dredged to a minimum depth of 10,8 m at MSL. Until the spring of 2014 the Holmuddsrännan fairway will be marked by lights and buoyage as position a) - l) below. Herosgrund light, position m), has been changed to show red light all around the horizon. The foundation of a new lighthouse has been built in position n), W of Herosgrund. This will be the front light in a coming leading line through the new Holmuddsrännan channel. The pink shaded area will be deepened to a minimum depth of 13,5 m but is currently at least 10,8 m deep at MSL. Dredging works will resume in the spring of 2014. Dredging will continue until a minimum depth of 13,5 m has been obtained within the entire fairway area.
