The Michigan Department of
Transportation (MDOT) is
working to enhance safety
and improve mobility by
modernizing the I-75 freeway.
What Is Being Done?
MDOT is reconstructing and realigning
3.1 miles of I-75, including ramps;
building a future high occupancy
vehicle (HOV) lane; and replacing
bridges at Square Lake Road,
Adams Road, Squirrel Road, and the
I-75/Square Lake Road interchange.
Where Is This Being Done??
The project is located on I-75 in
Oakland County in the cities of Troy,
Auburn Hills, and Bloomfield Township.
Work extends from north of Coolidge
Highway to north of South Boulevard,
and includes the Square Lake Road
and Adams Road interchanges.
