CYLINDER SCALE
The ADVANCE® Series 1360B electronic, dual-platform
cylinder scale is designed to measure and indicate the
weight of chlorine, sulfur dioxide, or similar compressed
gases in a cylinder.
–No lift, low profile platforms
Conveniently positioned at the top of the sturdy support
column is an easy-to-read LCD display with 1/2 inch characters,
and left and right LEDs indicating the cylinder being
weighed. Weight readings alternate between platforms every
8-10 seconds and are selectable for pounds or kilograms.
Independent tare adjustments of -180 pounds (-80 kilograms)
for each platform are also provided.
–Easy-to-read display
The heavy-duty weighing base consists of two platforms each
with a weighing capacity of 0-350 pounds (0-158 kilograms).
Low rounded platforms provide for safe, no lift, easy-on/
easy-off movement of gas cylinders. Unique design permits
off-center cylinder placement with no loss of accuracy. Internal
stops prevent overload damage.
The combination of scale design, materials selection, and
high-grade sealing compounds provides complete protection
from moisture and corrosion.

Brief Specification
The electronic dual-platform scale for chlorine or sulfur dioxide
cylinders shall consist of a dual platform weighing base and
support column with built-in weight indicator. Each platform
shall have a gross weight capacity of (350 pounds)
(158 kilograms), and a tare weight capacity of (-180 pounds)
(-80 kilograms).
Scale shall operate from a (120 Vac) (240 Vac) 50/60 Hz, single
phase power source.

The scale shall be accurate to ±0.5% of the gross weight
capacity. Resolution shall be (1 pound) (.1 kilogram). Accuracy
shall be maintained when cylinders are placed off-center
on the platform. Platforms shall be low profile with rounded
edges for easy-on/easy-off movement of cylinders. Built-in
stops shall be provided to prevent overload damage. The
scale shall have a 3 1/2 digit LED display. Display readings
shall alternate between platforms. Weight indication shall be
field configurable for pounds or kilograms. Weight indicator
electronics shall be housed in a NEMA 4X (IP65) enclosure.
