We create these designs using a Desktop Publishing software which is a type of digital printing
technique that was created in 1983. We have lots of different types of this software including Adobe
InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop so we’re able to create wonderful and elaborate designs for your
business stationery, business cards, leaflets and just about everything else. Just think how much
more advanced and technical designs we can create compared to mechanical and hand printing. We
then use Laser Printing to quickly produce your design to a high quality standard, this passes a laser
beam over a charged drum to help define the charge image – the drum then collects the toner and
transfers onto the image onto the papers where it’s heated and permanently fix to the image – but
don’t worry about these technical process – we create it all for you.
We also don’t want to forget the traditional methods that people used to use before this wonderful
technology came out, we still use the good old reliable letterpress. This is where we use a relief
technique and apply ink to the raised letters and then press it onto a piece of paper. Letterpress is
the oldest method of printing with equipment and images by the relief type printing plates. It also
shows how successful it still is today if it’s still being used and in high demand for, when it was
created in 1440.
