Applicant, (Ms. Kitty Hykes Anderson) is requesting approval for painting of the principal structure
located at 112 Village Street. The property is located within the German Village Historic District,
Zoned BPD, Business Planned Development. The Applicant proposes painting for the first floor of
the structure while all other portions of the exterior will remain in their existing condition.
Proposed work includes the following:

Only the front, first floor portion of the structure, which is currently white will be painted
with the proposed “Cool Melon”
Unchanging portions:

Green vinyl siding will remain as currently present.
Sides and rear of structure will remain white vinyl siding at this time.
RECOMMENDATION:
If the ADRB approves the issuance of a Certificate of Appropriateness for 112 Village
Street, the Department of Community Development requests that the ADRB consider
the following two (2) conditions of approval:
1)
That the ADRB consider the report and exterior changes proposed for the
structure.
2)
That the ADRB consider proposed work concurrently with the character of
the German Village Historic District.

Applicant, (Mr. Dale Wurzelbacher) is requesting approval for painting, replacement of windows
and other related improvements of the structure located at 214 Main Street. The property is
located within the Rossville-Main Street Historic District, Zoned MS-1, Main Street Core, FormBased Zoning. The Applicant has had recent dealings with historic property concerning this
property, primarily minor like-for-like painting as the beginning of more detailed improvements to
the structure. Applicant has submitted supplemental drawings detailing the proposed work for
review.
