Sentence Types Review 1. Simple sentences can still include compound subjects and compound predicates. 2. Simple sentences are independent clauses. 3. Complex sentences include an independent clause, but they also include a dependent clause. 4. Although they can sometimes seem wordy, compound-complex sentences are complete thoughts, and they are grammatically correct. 5. I will attempt to write good sentences even though they may be boring. 6. Students will be able to attend our Six Flags field trip if they meet the criteria. 7. Because we have great students, Team Infinity teachers plan many field trips. 8. Team Infinity students are awesome; however, I still need a seating chart now and then. 9. Even though my students were mad at me, I found a present on my desk, and I was grateful. 10. Everyone will do fine on the quiz and will feel successful. Sentence Types KEY 1.
