Applications
Wirewerks™ indoor fanout kit with 900 µm buffer tubes is the ideal solution for breakout
operations in the field or in factory. It allows to quickly and easily separate and protect the
250 µm fibers from a loose tube cable into individual 900 µm buffer tubes and to securely
terminate each lead with a 900 µm fiber optic connector. The buffer tubes are color coded for
easy fiber identification as defined in ANSI/TIA-598-C, the standard for fiber optic cables color
coding. These fanout kits are offered in 6 or 12-fiber counts and with 25, 36 or 47 inches
standard lengths allowing the flexibility needed in field installations.
