Who is the magazine for?
20th Century History Review has changed. Commissioned under its new title of Modern History
Review by a team based in The University of Warwick’s renowned History Department, the magazine
will help A-level students get the best grades they are capable of and instil a life-long love of history.
It builds on the best of the former title with new features and writers, and extends its focus to
nineteenth and twentieth century topics.

Articles on assessment, detailed exam advice and free
online resources will help students prepare for final
exams and boost their achievement.
A series of columns on applying for history at university
will give tips on attending interviews, questions to ask at
open days and what new undergraduates really think
about their history choices.
Introductions to online sources will help students make
the most of resources as diverse as court records from
the Old Bailey, the collections of the great museums and
private archives.
A short feature will show in-depth analysis of a selected

films, buildings and other sources.
