Tested to the Highest Standards
All Land Rover Approved Accessories are rigorously tested and inspected to ensure they meet the exacting standards you expect
from Land Rover. This ensures they always work in harmony with your vehicle.
Accessories are tested in extreme hot and cold temperatures to ensure they will perform in all conditions, year round. Corrosion
resistance testing ensures accessories can withstand demanding climates such as coastal conditions, while a series of tests ensures
seamless integration with your Land Rover’s existing safety features.
Bespoke testing ensures that accessories are put to their paces in a series of tests that suit their design, function and the materials
from which they’re made. Exterior accessory testing, for example, includes:
– Exposure to up to two years of direct sunlight known as ‘Florida Weathering.’
– Heat Ageing Test for 500 hours.
– Extreme Heat Test ranging from -40°C to 80°C.
– Heat Shock Testing during which parts are cooled to -40°C for 16 hours, then heated to 70°C for 5 minutes.
– Humidity Resistance Test where accessories are subjected to 168 hours at 48°C in 95 – 100% humidity.
– Accelerated Environmental Cycle Testing comprising a relentless barrage of salt, dirt and dust to simulate real world driving.
Quality Assured
For additional peace of mind, all Land Rover Approved Accessories come with a minimum 12 month warranty. Or can be
covered under your vehicle’s existing warranty if they’re purchased within the first month of ownership or 1,600 kilometres/
1,000 miles (whichever comes first).

Electrically Deployable Side Steps
These smart, practical steps make it easier to get in and
out of the vehicle. Neatly stowed under the sills, the
side steps automatically deploy as soon as the door is
opened, or when activated by the key fob. They stow
automatically when the door is closed. The side steps are
sensitive to obstructions and will not deploy in off-road
or low range settings The deployable side steps are
compatible with front mudflaps and feature a stainless
steel finish with laser etched Range Rover branding.

Tow Bar Mounted Bike Carrier
The tow ball mounted bike carrier features a lockable
one hand, quick attach/release tow bar coupling
mechanism. Manufactured from aluminium and
other lightweight materials, it is lockable for security.
The carrier has a folding mechanism with foot pedal
for easy access to the tailgate. Upper and lower
tailgate can be opened with carrier in deployed/
folded position. Holder with ratchet function for the
comfortable and safe securing of bicycles.

Towing Electrics – 13 Pin
13 Pin towing electrics offered for use
with multi-height tow bar. European-style
towing electric, capable of supplying
all trailer rear lighting and interior
equipment power. Tow electrics adaptor

Towing System – Multi-Height Tow Bar
Multi-height tow hitch allows for two different
tow-ball height positions. Simple to fit (once
armature installed) and can be swapped
between positions in seconds. 50mm tow ball is
included and will take up to 3,500kg trailer load
and 200kg nose weight. Not applicable for SVR.
Towing System – Electrically Deployable Tow Bar
The electrically deployable tow bar is stowed discreetly
behind the rear bumper when not in use, providing a clean
attractive finish. It is designed to deploy/stow in 12 seconds
and is operated by a switch in the rear loadspace. Returns
to original position if any obstructions encountered during
deploying/stowing. Includes integral 13 Pin tow electrics
(also hidden until deployed). Approved for up to 3,500kg
trailer load and 200kg nose weight. (3,000kg trailer load
limit for Range Rover Sport SVR).
