REPORTERS:

Dogs are individuals and their food
needs differ. A grown dog does well on
one, meal a day while a puppy should
have food more often. It is a good idea
to feed on a regular schedule. Most
commercially - produced dog foods
provide a balanced diet. Do not give
your dog raw eggs and do not give an
adult dog milk: Do not give your dog
any bones', such as chicken, which can
splinter and lodge in the throat or
digestive tract. Always have fresh
water available.
Never pick up a dog by the legs as
; this,
can cause serious injuries. Bathe
the dog periodically, comb frequently,
and clip out mats and burrs. Make
certain your dog does not have fleas or
ticks, which can cause serious
illnesses. Also, all dogs need exercise.
Outdoor dogs need a warm house,
free of drafts, as well as some shade.
The dog house should be elevated to
keep out .water and dampness. Never
confine your dog where he cannot reach
adequate shelter.
Watch for signs of illness or internal
parasites, loss of appetite, lack of interest, rough, dull coat, or discharge
from nose or eyes. Take the dog to your
veterinarian when these occur.
Millions of dogs are killed each year
because they are unwanted. Do not let
your dog contribute to this needless
suffering. Have your female dog;
spayed and your male dog neutered.
You will have a happier, better pet.

An appeal to animal lovers.
.can you help us provide food
for the animals at the animal shelter? Because our funds are
low, several of the members believe that we should destroy the
animals, but there are those of us who believe in the word
, "Humane" and want to s,ave them. Will you help us? The

Come in and give one a careful examination" in our showroom. You will see that the
450SE has developed the basic systems of the
automobile to greater heights than any other
sedan in Mercedes-Benz history.
The only way to really know a car is to drive it.
We invite you to take the 450SE for a thorough
test drive. See why we say that even by 1976, the
other^ manufacturers will not have had time to follow its examples.
L . . And consider this. An automobile which is
years ahead of the rest today is far more likely to be
a value while the others try to catch up tomorrow.

But that is what someone did.
She is now at the animal
