Eurokarst comes from the fusion of H2karst and ISKA conferences organized respectively by
the Universities of Besançon-Neuchâtel, one side, and Malaga, on the other. Eurokarst becomes, by
this fact, the only global event of this magnitude which deals with the limestone hydrogeology. The
goal is to cover a wide range of topics related to carbonate reservoirs and hydrogeology of the karst.
This series of seminars will be a platform for exchange between researchers, PhD students,
professionals (managers and consulting engineers).
The Eurokarst seminars will take place every two years and will rotate between Neuchâtel,
Besançon and Malaga.
At present, Philippe Renard (U. Neuchâtel), Catherine Bertrand (U. Bourgogne Franche-Comté)
and Bartolomé Andreo-Navarro (Malaga U.) control the organization of the first Eurokarst
symposium to be held in September 2016 in Neuchâtel . You will find all information about the

- June 2016: revision of the article for publication in the conference proceedings
