Why?
Why do we want a Community of Users?
• To share information about:
1. Research projects
2. Policy developments
• To promote common approaches to research and policy within Horizon2020
• On the longer term, to stimulate common demands and so enhance the internal market
in security

Horizon2020 developments and round-tables on targeted technical issues (e.g. prevention /
preparedness, detection / surveillance, protection / recovery) open to participation
• Events opened to interactions with SMEs and operators through webstreaming facilities
• Annual compilation of relevant (policy & research) information
