NOT INTENDED FOR PUBLIC RELEASE 13 KML Capability • • • • • Users can now create KML products from the GXP Xplorer instance known as ESS. • Capability is deployed on JWICS, SIPR and NIPR • No additional licenses or configuration is required to use the capability. KML Products that are produced will have streaming pixels either via WMS or WMTS. Two Types of KML products • KML Super Overlay – Uses WMTS, Preferred output as it’s faster and is less work on the GXP Xplorer backend. • KML – Uses WMS Users can create KML products using the order operations tool bar or the “I want to” drop down (which produces a KML based on last search results) Users can create “Network Link” KMLs which will dynamically update as new products are cataloged that meet the search criteria. © 2017 BAE Systems.
