Choosing a person to present for Black History Month:
We would like to provide your son or daughter the option to choose the person that interests
them to present on. However, to decrease the chance that 80 percent of our participants
choose the same person we would like to have your child provide their top three choices for
who they would like to present on based on the list provided. If your child is interested on
researching and presenting on someone not listed, please contact Mr. Planter or Mr. Jasper
ahead of time. Students will be granted one of their three choices based on the student who
turns in their form first. Please turn the permission slip by 2/22 so that we can properly
organize the event. Please turn in a draft of the speech by 2/25 so that it may be checked for
accuracy.
