When she was a child she said that she was a tomboy. The thing she was most scared of was spiders. When she was a little girl she liked to climb trees. Even because she was a tomboy, she still liked to play with dolls. The College and the University she attended were Merced College and Chapman University. First she wanted to be a dental hygienist. She decided on teaching because it was an easy choice to help people and it made her feel good. Mrs. Medlin loves Burbank Elementary and she also loves the teachers here. Mrs. Medlin said that Burbank students know how to swim. Mrs. Medlin On Monday, January 18th, there was a march to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life, accomplishments, and the hope he brought to America. The march began at the Amtrak Station on 24th Street and proceeded down Martin Luther King, Jr. Way. The march ended at the Merced County Fairgrounds. At the fairgrounds, participants were able to listen to various speakers and watch local groups perform.
