Columbus, OH, November 9, 2015 – car2go N.A., LLC, the market leader for one-way carsharing in North
America, announced today that the company will be launching a promotion that gives car2go members
– for the first time ever – discounted by-the-minute trip rates in Columbus. Just in time for errands and
travel around the upcoming holiday season, the program will begin 11/9 until 12/6, giving members a
chance to escape the cold and experience the convenience of car2go for only $0.29 per minute. The
rate, a 30% discount from car2go’s 41 cent rate, will continue to include fuel, maintenance, parking and
insurance. No promotional code is necessary – members just hop in and drive, and will automatically
receive the discounted trip rate for the duration of the promotion.

For additional savings, new members in Columbus who register through December 6 for car2go with the
promotional code “HOPIN” will receive a discounted $5 (regularly $35) registration fee and the first 60
minutes of drive time for free. There are no annual or yearly fees for car2go membership, members pay
a consistent rate only for the time they drive.
