TK/K-2 Barn Raiser Day - Saturday, September 21, 2-7pm
Calling all K-2 Families! Come "Raise the Aveson Barn" by helping to paint, clean,
repair and take care of our campus. Work from 2-5pm, and finish the day with a pot
luck from 5-7pm. Meet new families, socialize, help care for our campus and have
fun! More info soon on Advisory Pot Luck Assignments. (3-5 Barn Raiser Day on
September 28.)
Coffee with Kate - Wednesday, September 18, 8:30am
Join Director Kate Bean for coffee and an informal Q & A. Hear the latest about what's
going on at ASL. Meet at the Upper Black Top tables.
ASL Coffee Chat - Friday, September 20, Every Friday in September
Stop by the Grassy Field after morning drop off for a cup of coffee and a
snack. Meet new families, chat with veteran parents and get your questions
answered. Friday, September 13, and every Friday in September - bring your own
cup. Welcome back to school!

Urgent: Does anyone have a contact at Southern California Edison?
The great new is...our new AGLA building has all the electrical systems installed and
approved by the inspector. We now need Southern California Edison to bring in
the power! There is some concern Edison will take longer than we would like to get
the building up and running. If there is anyone you know who has a contact at
Edison who can help us move the power connection along faster, please call Kate at
ASL. 626-797-1440. We are right at the goal line and we need a little push to get over
that line!

donating high quality, custom designed, and earth friendly furniture that our
