Lucky Number Draw
Purpose: To provide an incentive to old and new customers/patrons to come
into the Delafield American Legion Post 196 on a weekly basis. This will be done
by offering customers/patrons a game of chance to win money and at the same
time increase the Delafield American Legion Post 196’s business. This game of
chance will be a weekly, ongoing game.
Rules
Entering the Lucky Number Draw:
1. The game will begin with each player buying in for $2.00.
a. $1.00 will go to buy-in of the pot.
b. $1.00 will go for that weeks drawing.
2. After initial buy in, players will pay $1.00 each week to be in that week’s
drawing. Players must pay and enter their own name and number. (This is
to maintain fairness to all players)
3. At the time of buy in, player will enter their name next to the first available
number on the sign up sheet.
4. Players cannot choose their numbers. They must take the next number in
line.
5. This number will remain that player’s number for the duration of the game.
6. Numbers CANNOT be exchanged or traded once player’s name is written
on the sign up sheet!
7. If a player chooses to leave the game, their number will be eliminated and
no one is allowed to take that number.
Play Lucky Number Draw:
1. Winning number is drawn every Sunday at 5:00 P.M. This is real time.

2. In the event the Delafield American Legion Post 196 is closed on any given
Sunday the drawing will take place on the next full business day at 5:00
P.M. real time.
3. Only ONE number will be picked each week! If player has not paid for that
week the money gets rolled over into the pot!
4. AFTER the 5:00 P.M. real time drawing, players will be able to pay $1.00
and add their number and name to the next week’s list.
5. Players need to pay $1.00 and add their number and name to the current
week’s list before 5:00 P.M. real time Sunday to be eligible.
6. When new players buy in, they will enter their name on the original sign up
sheet to receive their number and then enter that number and their name
to the current weeks drawing list. (See ‘Entering Lucky Number Draw’
section for details.)
Winning the Lucky Number Draw:
1. Players DO NOT need to be present at time of drawing to win.
2. Player with the winning number, drawn on Sundays at 5:00 P.M. real time,
wins half the pot.
3. Numbers are written on ½” poker chips. New numbers are added as players
sign up.
4. The corresponding numbered chip will be removed for any player who
chooses to be eliminated from the Lucky Number Draw. (See: #7 under
Entering Lucky Number Draw section.)
5. Only ONE number will be picked each week! If player has not paid for that
week the money gets rolled over into the pot!
6. The number and corresponding name are written on the board behind the
bar.
7. Winning player has until the following Sunday before 5:00 P.M. real time to
claim their winnings.
8. ONLY the person with the winning number may collect their winnings.
9. Winner will not be notified in any way, MUST COME IN to check the board.

10.Winnings not claimed by the next drawing will be rolled over into the pot.
11.If the winning number picked has not been paid for that week, the money
stays in the pot and the name goes on the board with a sad face.
12.The Delafield American Legion Post 196 website will post the weekly pot
along with the amount won by the winning number.
13. The Delafield American Legion Post 196 website will not post the number
or name of the winning chip.
Miscellaneous:
1. If a player misses a week, this does not disqualify them from the game.
2. Player’s can pay the $1.00 upon their return to participate in the next
weeks drawing following the rules above.
3. Players who have previously signed up and acquired a number do not have
to re-pay the original $2.00 buy-in.
4. Players will keep their original numbers for the duration of the Lucky
Number Draw game.
5. In the event that the pot reaches $800, there will be two numbers drawn.
The first number drawn will win $400 and the second number drawn will
win $200.
6. This will bring the pot back to $200 to be built up again.
7. Maximum payout will be $400.
Termination of Lucky Number Draw:
1. The Delafield American Legion Post 196 reserves the rights to terminate the
Luck Number Draw at any time it see fit.
2. Any monies in the pot will be distributed through drawing of number(s) to
fairly delete the pot.
3. No monies will be turned over to the Delafield American Legion Post 196
unless remaining participants agree equally.
