Photo Screen Printing­– 6 week class. In this class students will explore
using a photographic technique using a film positive to transfer your image
to your screen. The screen will be ready to follow with running an edition
of prints to exchange with classmates and take home. Student can bring in a
variety of materials to print on from paper, cardboard, plexi and of course

ADULT CLASSES
Watercolor: Direct Painting and Monoprints –­ Available as
single workshop or 5-6 week class. Explore watercolor techniques for
direct painting, creating washes, textures and value. Apply these skills
to create one of a kind monoprints. Project includes direct painting
techniques with watercolor washes, salt and alcohol textures, building
up values, preparing the monoprint plate, painting the plate and pulling
monoprints. Instructors: Jessica Kronika and Janet Schill

Collagraphic Printmaking –­ Available as single workshop or 5-6
week class. Explore the use of collagraphic plates built up with a variety
of everyday found or recycled materials and tools. Project includes
creating your own collagraphic plates and relief blocks, sealing the
plate, ink application techniques and pulling or stamping prints.

Workshop: Monday Sept. 15 and Friday Sept. 19 1-4 pm
Two day Workshop: $75. Some supplies included. Students are encouraged to
bring found objects. Suggested materials list provided upon registration.
Intersections of Traditional and Digital Printmaking Available
as single workshop or 5-6 week class. Do you like to print using traditional
printmaking materials and techniques but want to add some digital
imagery? Or…Have you explored digital photography or computerized
art making like Photoshop or Illustrator and want to make durable,
archival prints that will last? Then this class is for you! We will explore
proper settings and resolution for a variety of digital file formats, paper
options, mediums to prepare paper for inkjet, laser, mixed process and
traditional printmaking. High quality digital printing will be available
for works on up to 12x18 inch format paper, with a maximum image
size of 11x17 inches. Chine Colle options for collaging digital works

Calligraphy and Watercolor Monoprint –­ Available as single
workshop or 5-6 week class. Explore uses of Watercolor Monoprint
and Calligraphy embellishment in this project oriented class. Project
includes direct and monoprint applications for watercolor, calligraphy
lettering, gold leafing and the illuminated page. Instructor: Jessica

Beginning Printmaking –­ 4 week class. Beginners will learn three
basic printmaking techniques, rubbercut block, monoprinting (using
watercolor and oil based inks), and drypoint. Students will use block
cutting tools, brushes, brayers stylus and our printing presses. You will
leave with plenty of prints to share with family and friends and have a

ADULT WORKSHOPS
Beginning and Master Class: Etching –­ One day workshop
Learn how to create your own images on a metal plate and print them on
paper. This class teaches basic intaglio processes for beginners, as well as
selected projects for those who have prior experience. We will be using zinc
plate and acid. Instructor: Nicolas de Jesus
Handmade Books –­ Workshop October 25th 9:30-1:30.
$40 plus $10 for materials. Savor the creation of a hand mad book you’ll
treasure forever. You’ll be learning binding knots, paper-grain, use of binding
tools and more! Typical use for such books are: special gifts, recipes, wine
notebook, journals, or poetry. Instructor: Whitney Scott
Beginning and Intermediate Screen Printing ­– Afternoon workshop.
Learning how to cut and print a paper stencil is an important and very
simple way to screen print. This class introduces beginners to a stencil print
using contact paper and a screen. From this design student can follow with a
2nd stencil to introduce a second color. Come with fabric and try and print
on that too! Instructor: Janet Schill
Sat. September 27 1-3:30 pm Fee: $25 members $35 non members
Private Lessons in Printmaking– 2 hour workshop. $30 for on student
$20 for 2 students (each) for a 2 hour class on Saturdays. Students supply
all materials. Screen printing, block printing, drypoint, monoprinting both
watercolor and ink. Instructor: Janet Schill
CHILDREN’S CLASSES and WORKSHOPS
Paper Cast Bowls (Ages 5 and up) Materials will be provided. This safe and earth friendly process making a paper bowl is fun for all.
We’ll recycle paper to make paper pulp. Using different colored papers we
will press into mold. When dry you can paint and embellish and more!

Halloween Skull Prints (Ages 10 to 99) Saturday workshop to take place in
early October. Using a simple mylar stencil we will create monoprints using
