Dear Parents/Carers,
Christmas Dinner

vegetarian option, please fill out the tear off slip of that letter and send back into school
tomorrow (Friday 9th December). If you did not receive the letter please send a note into the
school office with £2 if your child is usually on a packed lunch at the Junior Site.

News
WB 05.11.16
This week we have been discussing Christmas during assemblies and circle times. We have been
thinking about what Christmas means to us and our families and how we can reach out to others
at this time of year. We have very much enjoyed sharing Christmas traditions.
A reminder that the last date for donating to the Key 103 Christmas toy appeal is Friday 9th
December. If you are able to donate a gift, please drop it in (unwrapped) at either office. The
charity provides gifts for children and young people aged 0-18 who may otherwise not receive a
gift this Christmas. Any gift large or small would help to put a smile on someone’s face this
Christmas. We would also like to say a huge thank you to anyone who has already dropped off a
gift for the appeal, the response has been fantastic!
We would also like to say a big well done and thank you to our Christmas Choir who sang
beautifully at Little Owl Farm on Saturday. You did us proud as always!

Theme/Value of the Week – Christmas
.Question of the Week – Why and how do Christians celebrate Christmas?
Home Challenge of the week – ‘Nativity’ – Show us what you know about the Nativity story. You
could draw a picture, write a story a play script or even draft it as a poem!
Extra Information – What have you done today to make you feel proud?
Eve Fox – because when she fell and had to go to hospital she was really brave while the nurse glued
her cut together – she didn’t even cry once!
Well done Eve for showing such courage, we are all very proud of you!
Please keep your proud slips coming into school we are really enjoying reading them and have a very
full display board.
