Adjust handstrap for snug fit before folding You are now ready to use your CN2 and handstrap. For help, see the CN2 Handheld Computer User’s Manual (P/N 075464). CN2 Handstrap Instructions The CN2 Handstrap (P/N 075400) gives you a convenient way to hold the CN2 Handheld Computer. Simply place your hand under the adjustable nylon strap and grasp the computer. When you use the CN2 for an extended period of time, the handstrap helps relieve hand stress. This instruction sheet lists the parts contained in the handstrap kit and describes how to install the handstrap. Unpacking the Handstrap Kit The handstrap kit contains this instruction sheet and these parts: Adjustable nylon strap New battery door Screws (2) Upper retaining bar Contents of the Handstrap Kit: When you unpack the handstrap kit, the upper retaining bar may be attached to the nylon strap, and the screws may be magnetically attached to the battery door. CN2 Handstrap Instructions *075465-002* P/N 075465-002 Follow these instructions to install the handstrap. You will need a small Phillips screwdriver. To install the handstrap 1 Turn off the CN2, and place the CN2 face-down on a clean, flat, stable surface. 2 Using the screws that came with the handstrap, attach the upper retaining bar to the CN2. Attach the upper retaining bar to the CN2 6 Insert the handstrap under the bar on the new battery door. Make sure the folded end faces down on the side of the bar closest to the battery door latch. Battery latch Insert handstrap under bar 3 Push down on the battery door latch, and pull up on the battery door. Folded end faces down 7 Fold the handstrap over and insert it under the upper retaining bar. The hooks and loops on the handstrap are now facing up. Battery door latch Hooks Insert handstrap under the upper retaining bar Loops 4 Set the battery door aside. You cannot use this battery door with the handstrap. You can discard this door or keep it as a spare for a CN2 without a handstrap. 5 Install the new battery door that came with the handstrap. Press down on the battery door until it clicks into place. 8 Place your hand under the handstrap to adjust the fit. Then fold the Press down until the latch clicks handstrap over and press down firmly to attach the hooks and loops, as shown in the next illustration.
