FREE SURGERY AND VACCINES FOR NORTHERN
KENTUCKY CATS!
Owned cats in Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen and
Pendleton counties in Northern Kentucky get FREE surgery and FREE rabies
and FVRCP vaccines, thanks to a generous grant from the Northern
Kentucky Area Development District and The Joanie Bernard Foundation.
This special will hopefully enable each of
the county shelters in these counties to
achieve a 90% save rate of cats, the
generally accepted definition of "no-kill,"
within one to two years!
We provide free monthly transports from
six of these counties: Boone, Campbell,
Gallatin, Grant, Kenton and Pendleton
counties. Please call 859-824-9403 to
schedule a spot on the Grant County
transport or call 513-762-0130 to
schedule a spot on any of the other
transports.
EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
James Phillips is our Transport Driver and
Facilities Coordinator. He joined UCAN in
December 2013.
James is great with animals and takes
extraordinarily good care of all of the animals
on our free transports from various locations,
ensuring the pets get safely to our clinic for
surgery and back to their owners thereafter.
James is also our "fix anything that is wrong"
person and he keeps our facilities and
transport vehicles in good working order and
repair. He is our only male employee, so you
can image the patience he has!

James enjoys playing drums, working on
cars, and spending time with his terrier mix, Palin, and his greyhound, Zany.
