Praising Good Behaviour
Every week, we are going to try and share a positive experience related to
pupils' behaviour with you.
Well done to the children who attended the Frays Academy Trust Maths
Challenge on Tuesday evening at Laurel Lane. They worked incredibly hard
and their behaviour was impeccable! A special mention should go to Kieran
Gallagher and Mujahid Uddin who won the Silver Medal. Well done!
Important Information and Reminders
Earrings
Can we remind all parents/carers that for safety reasons, children should not
wear hoop or drop earrings to school. Stud earrings are the only type
permitted. Earrings should not be worn for PE and children are responsible for
removing them themselves.
Bikes & Scooters
We remind you again that while children are welcome to ride their bikes and
scooters to school, they MUST NOT ride them on school grounds for safety
reasons.
New School Telephone Number & Telephone Issues
Our school telephone number has now changed. It is 01895 462361. At the
moment, we only have one telephone line, with no separate absence line.
Only one person can get through at a time and it doesn’t always go to
voicemail, so appears constantly busy. We are in the process of getting this
sorted, so please bear with us.
Class Attendance Awards
We are introducing a new incentive for classes to work together to get the
highest possible attendance. The class with the highest attendance will have
non-school uniform day at the end of this half term. To help your child’s class
achieve this, can we ask where possible that doctor and dental appointments
are made for after school, or after registration.
Sports News
A huge congratulation to the CSL Year 5 and 6 football team:
Kieran Gallagher
Hayden White
Archie Cave
Michael Patmore
Ulpian Vishi
Joshua Andrus
Brinley Shields
Javin Defoe
Dejarn Jones
who won the Hillingdon School Football League! The boys
have had a fantastic season, and should be incredibly proud
of themselves. They will be receiving medals and the league
trophy in today's achievement assembly.
A further huge well done to children in Y4:
Vinnie Walsh
Cameron Ford
Braydon Hayes
Faisal Hussein-Rea
Justice Brooks
Ben Young
Ledijon Smaka
These guys competed in a QPR football
tournament. It was the first competition the boys
had played together in, and represented CSL
incredibly well.
Summer events will be posted soon....it's a very exciting term involving Sports Day, Wimbledon, the Euros and of
course the Summer Olympics! Miss Manning and Mr McAuley :)

Highwaymen on Horses
In the darkness they go
Glimmers of gold, on the road
Hide it in a hole
Wait until the Kings men disappear
And then I travel to my ship
Yet I miss my love, Bess
Men surround me in the street
Eventually, there is a torrent of wind
Never to be seen again
