Parking for patients and visitors just got easier at the Red Deer Regional Hospital! 

The new parkade adds much‐needed parking capacity. New parking equipment has been installed to make paying for parking more convenient. o Equipment is conveniently located at the locations marked above in yellow. o Buy a permit by entering your licence plate before paying by cash or credit card. No need to return to your vehicle to display a permit. o Have a hard time remembering your licence plate number? Take a picture with your smartphone. Parking rates are unchanged. Public parking is GST exempt. Pay stations accept Canadian coins or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Maximum 28 Canadian coins per transaction, no pennies. Machines provide no change. Parking Office accepts payment by cash, credit card, debit or cheque. Short Term Public Parking Rates: Surface parking lots: $1.25 per half hour or portion thereof Daily passes $8.50 available from pay stations Parkade: $1.25 per half hour or portion thereof Daily passes $8.50 available from pay stations Underground: $1.25 per half hour or portion thereof Daily passes $9.50 available from pay stations Long Term Rates for Patients and Visitors: Weekly parking pass: $37.00 Monthly parking pass: $57.00 Weekly and monthly passes are available at the parking office. Authorization form from clinic/patient care unit required. Vehicle and Height Restrictions Propane powered vehicles are not permitted in the parkade or underground parking areas. Height restrictions: Parkade: 2.13 meters (7 feet) Underground parking: 1.83 meters (6 feet) Accessible Parking Locations Public surface lot: Adjacent to the South Complex (main entrance) doors Parkade: Near elevators on levels P1 and P2 Underground parkade: Across from the underground parking elevator lobby Valid government‐issued parking placard for persons with disability required.
