Dress Code- What to wear
Preschool children
Delightful Tots and Kinder Kids
Stepnout t-shirt with black pants, leggings or shorts
Shoes are not required.
No dresses or skirts are allowed for the girls due to climbing on equipment
and safety issues. Preschoolers with long hair must keep it off their face,
hair tied back is recommended.
Little Fairies & Elves
Burgundy leotard and skirt for girls.
Pink leather ballet shoes for girls.
Ballet stockings or socks are required for girls.
Boys wear Stepnout t-shirt with black shorts or pants
No shoes required but if you would like to purchase you can get black ballet shoes
Kids & Teen uniform
Boys​.
All boys to be in black shorts or pants and Stepnout T’shirt with black socks
Hair neat and tidy
Jazz, Tap shoes can be purchased in black, ballet shoes are white canvas
Contemporary will require toe thongs and knee pads
Jitterbugs and all other Jazz & Tap classes
Hair in a neat ponytail.
Burgundy leotard and skirt. Dance shorts can be worn over leotard.
In winter black dance pants or leggings can be worn over leotard with crossover top.
Tan Tap & Jazz shoes required with Tan stockings or socks.
Please ensure Jazz shoes must have laces replaced with elastic if they are not slip on shoes for safety for all students
and ease for getting shoes on and off for the younger students.
How to changes laces in Jazz shoes
Jazz & Lyrical classes
Hair in a neat ponytail.
Burgundy leotard and skirt. Dance shorts can be worn over leotard.
In winter black dance pants or leggings can be worn over leotard with burgundy crossover top.
Tan Jazz shoes required with Tan stockings or socks.

Musical Theatre class
Hair in a neat ponytail.

If Musical theatre is you're only class you may change the leotard and skirt for a Stepnout T’shirt
Tan Jazz shoes required with Tan stockings or socks.

Acrobatics classes
Hair in a bun for safety.
Burgundy leotard with dance shorts worn over leotard.
In winter black dance pants or leggings can be worn over leotard with burgundy crossover top.
You may wear a Stepnout T’shirt over your leotard but you must wear a leotard underneath as tricks may cause you're
tops to go over your head when upside down and doing certain tricks

Junior cheerleading & acrobatics
Hair in a bun for safety.
Burgundy leotard with dance shorts worn over leotard.
In winter black dance pants or leggings can be worn over leotard with burgundy crossover top.

Tap classes
Hair in a neat ponytail.

Tan Tap shoes required with Tan stockings or socks for girls.
Hip Hop
Hair in a neat high ponytail.
Tan tights for girls will be required for photos and concert but not necessary for classes
Shorts,leggings or pants and a Stepnout T’shirt
Plain Black runners are to be clean and tidy.( check Kmart or Target for these)
Boys black socks
Ballet Classes
Hair in a bun.
Burgundy leotard and skirt. Burgundy crossover tops can be worn in colder months
Ballet tights and pink leather ballet shoes must be worn
Pointe shoes for pointe class must be fitted correctly and have been to the physio for a report before fitting.

Contemporary

Adults classes
Appropriate shoes depending on classes
Comfortable clothes no uniform requirements.
All uniforms & shoes can be purchased through the studio office.
Uniforms always in stock, shoes must be ordered after a fitting takes place and can take
around 1 week. Please allow time for fitting when you come into office.
