A HEALTHY APPROACH FROM FEILO SYLVANIA FOR HEALTHCARE GROUP
A leading UK healthcare provider is undertaking a major refurbishment programme at many of its
facilities in the across the country. The programme includes upgrades to many of the outpatient
consulting rooms, operating recovery rooms main entrance and reception areas at many of the
organisation’s facilities nationwide. At one of their key facilities in Hertfordshire, a new lighting
scheme has been installed with a complete luminaire solution being supplied by Feilo Sylvania.
As part of the refurbishment of its facilities, the organisation has appointed Leonard Engineering to
carry out a five year programme of general upgrade to their building services in hospitals nationwide
– including new lighting schemes at many of the hospitals. At the facility in Hertfordshire, Feilo
Sylvania supplied products including Concord’s Lytepanel, Lumistrip and Giotto LED from Lumiance
and Sylproof Superia LED part of the Sylvania portfolio of luminaires.

Concord Lytepanel utilises super-efficient LED technology in an ultra slim architectural design that
offers the perfect solution for specifiers who are looking for the pinnacle in stylish light distribution,
while maintaining a clean simple ceiling line. Lytepanel’s minimal, yet modern slim design, lends
itself perfectly to facilities such as public areas and consulting rooms.
Lumistrip LED is supplied in 5m-long flexible reels which can be cut to a preferred length. Versions
are available in 4000K neutral white, 3000K warm white, red, green, blue, yellow and RGB options.
With a Life expectancy of 50,000 hours, Lumistrip LED has an easy to fit installation kit which
includes 25 x 200mm clear PC mounting strips with 3M adhesive tape, screw kits and 10 end caps.
Part of the classic, contractor-friendly Lumiance range of products, Giotto LED is The Giotto LED
range offers energy savings of up to 40% compared to equivalent CFL versions. In addition to the
LEDs, Lumiance has enhanced the range to include: MicroWave presence detection, DALI and
integral three hour emergency versions. The robust build-quality and reliable performance of the
Lumiance Giotto LED family is ideally suited for lighting in stairwells, hallways, schools or local
community buildings where high switching cycles, instant light and reliability are critical for safety.
