RIEDEL PRESENTS ITS SPIRIT COLLECTION FOR FATHER’S DAY
This 16th June 2013, express your love and appreciation by giving your father the perfect tool for
enjoying his favourite type of spirit this Father’s Day. Regardless of whether your dad is a
connoisseur of Tequila, Grappa, Cognac, Port, Single Malt Whisky or many other spiritis, Riedel

Renowned for its grape varietal specific wine glasses, Riedel has also produced specific glasses
for spirits within its collections. Riedel’s award winning Sommeliers collection of mouth blown
hand made lead crystal glassware, includes glasses for a wide range of spirits, including Single

recently demonstrated in a partnered event between Martell and Riedel. Guests were invited to
taste the premium Martell cognac from a traditional brandy balloon glass and also with the
Riedel Cognac glass. Guests were astounded by the enhancement of flavour produced by the
latter. This experience was further enhanced by a chocolate pairing as guests experienced how
different chocolates brought out different flavours in the Cognac. “Similar to the conclusion by a
group of leading Single Malt experts that Riedel gathered to test Riedel Single Malt glasses, our
group also concluded that the traditional brandy balloon emphasised alcohol at the expense of
subtle aromas – the difference was night and day”, says Mr Suresh Kanji, General Manager of
Town House, distributor of Riedel in Hong Kong. Everyone can replicate this amazing experience
at home with Riedel V.S.O.P or XO glasses, cognac and chocolate.
