Emmet Gardner is a United States border guard along the Rio Grande. One day he discovers that his
son has accepted a nice chunk of money to set a trap for a local dealer who is a member of the cartel.
To get his son out of this dangerous situation Emmet decides to set the trap himself. But during the
ambush he kills an undercover DEA officer! Pursued by both the federal government and bounty
hunters, this is the beginning of a long adventure in the badlands...
