Summer Retreat and Float Trip
On July 25th and 26th Andy, Shandi, Nathanael and approximately 50 students
took part in the annual summer retreat and
float trip. Everyone enjoyed a Friday night
cookout, worship and devotional. Then on
Saturday morning they headed to the
Meramec River for a day of floating, fun and
sun. The weekend is a time of fellowship as
well as building excitement for the fall semester and getting to know some of the
incoming freshmen.
Christian Campus Fellowship exists to reach non believing students, nurture fellowship among believers, deepen knowledge of
and love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to encourage one another to serve and worship God.

When I was in college, CCF was a place for me to be
rooted in Christ, connect with friends, and share the
journey. It is hard to believe that it has already been
four years since I graduated. As a consultant, I traveled around but the magnets in the arch brought me
back to St. Louis. I still wear my CCF intramurals TShirt and brag about the one and only touch down I
ever made as a wide receiver! Go C-Team!! All the
best to the current CCF'ers and enjoy your time at
college and Rolla.

The semester has begun! Most have caught up on sleep after the wonderful chaotic Opening Week. It all
began Saturday, August 16th. This year we had: 1 street closed, 4 Root beer/cream soda kegs, 9 gallons of
ice cream, 100 t-shirts, 450 people at the Luau, and 800 lbs of pig! It was an awesome week meeting freshmen, welcoming back returning students and catching up with visiting alum. Every year more upper classmen return early to be a part of making freshmen feel welcome and help them get connected. Our students are ever more eager to be part of making college a fulfilling and growing season in the lives of others. This is a joy to witness in the spontaneous worship experiences, God ordained conversations, friendships made and doors opened. Please pray God will use this semester for His purposes, and an opportunity to collide with the students in radical and powerful ways.

Ministry Update
Hi! My name’s Nathanael Coffman. I’m the new intern for this fall semester! I’m a
senior at Saint Louis Christian College, and when I’m done here in Rolla, I will return to finish up my final two semesters. I’m engaged to Hannah Lawson and we
plan to marry in May of 2015. In the past year and a half I have felt God’s call on my
life to pursue college ministry. It started when I saw estimates of college students who
leave the faith when in college. Most estimates show 50 to 80 percent fall away from
Christianity during their college years. This became much more than a statistic to
me when I saw this
happening to some
of my friends whom
I had grown up with
in church. Needless
to say, I am more
than happy to be
here with Rolla
CCF. I am excited to
learn as much as I
can from Andy and
Shandi, as well as to
minister and grow in
faith with all of the
students involved
here at CCF.
Upcoming Events
Be in prayer for these upcoming events as both WCCH and CCH Residents, as well as everyone involved in CCF, grow in faith and fellowship.

The Christian Campus House is a mess! No, it is not a residual
mess from O-Week and the ‘best ever’ Pumba. No, not because
the guys are slobs and need help understanding why they can’t
leave all the dirty clothes in a pile and stuff tossed wherever (well
maybe, but that’s not the point). It is because of construction!
This week, the construction guys are out back getting more concrete poured and working on the first floor. We should start to
see some walls going up in the next week or so. If you want to see
the most recent pictures, check out the website (http://
www.rollaccf.org/legacy) for information about the project and
campaign (including how you can give) or check out a time lapse
of what has happened so far (https://www.youtube.com/watch?
v=mXEZLaQ5HDA). We’ve got a camera set to take photos every
30 minutes round the clock so you’ll be able to see where we are.
Feel free to get in touch with me with any questions and please,
be praying for the ministry and students during the chaos that we
keep the focus on Christ!
