RESOLUTION NO. 93-6993
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A FORMULA FOR CALCULATING THE FUEL MARK-UP TO
ESTABLISH RETAIL PRICES CHARGED AT THE NAPLES CITY DOCK ON
DELIVERIES FROM FUEL SUPPLIERS, AND TO ESTABLISH THE ALLOWABLE
MARK-UP RANGE ON WHOLESALE DELIVERED FUEL; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,
the City Council shall, by resolution, adopt a
formula for calculating fuel prices at the Naples
City Dock;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NAPLES, FLORIDA:

Section 2.
That the formula for calculating the fuel mark-up
to establish retail prices charged at the Naples
City Dock on deliveries from fuel suppliers, and to
establish the allowable mark-up range on wholesale
delivered fuel is hereby adopted as follows:
(A)
all applicable Federal, State and Special
Excise Gas Taxes, and all current Collier
County Local Option Fuel Taxes shall be added
to the base price of all wholesale delivered
fuel;
(B)
a mark-up of not less than 10 cents nor
greater than 34 cents shall be added to each
gallon of fuel sold at the Naples City Dock,
based upon retail price, including all
discounts, remaining competitive with the
surrounding marine retailers.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
adoption.
