Accessibility Updates - Skype for Business 2016 WIndows client
These new client visuals are part of a large amount of work (both visual and internal) Microsoft has
done to make Skype for Business 2016 more accessible so that it can be enjoyed by more people
around the world. One example of this effort is the slight variation in color changes which provides
greater text-to-background contrast to empower those with low vision to more easily distinguish parts
of the interface. We also improved screen reader support, simplified keyboard navigation and made

Add-ins in Outlook 2016 for Mac
Add-ins bring your favorite apps right inside Outlook, so you can accomplish tasks quickly without
needing to switch back and forth between email and other apps. Last year, we announced the
rollout of add-ins to Outlook 2016 for Mac in Office Insider. We are now making add-ins available to
all Outlook 2016 for Mac customers who have Exchange 2013 Service Pack 1 or higher, or Office 365

Assign a task to multiple individuals in Office 365 Planner
Users will be able to assign a task to multiple team members in Office 365 Planner.
Auto-Expanding Archives
To accommodate customers who require very, very large archiving storage, you will be able to
leverage an auto-expanding, highly scalable archiving. This allows you to take advantage of a truly
bottomless archive without needing to call support or perform any manual steps. Through an update
to our back-end architecture, we not only enabled auto-expanding archives, but also removed limits
on the Recoverable Items store.
Copy to Sent Items for both Principal and Delegate
When someone who has a Send-as or Send-on-behalf-of permission (the delegate) to another user's
mailbox (the principal) currently sends an email as or on-behalf-of the principal, only the delegate
has the email stored in his/her Sent Items folder. Now, via PowerShell, this behavior can be modified
so that both the delegate and the principal have a copy stored in their Sent Items folders.

Embed Microsoft Forms into OneNote Online
Now, you can embed a form into OneNote Online in just a couple of steps. Under the OneNote Insert
menu, click Forms, and then in the Forms for OneNote pane, select a form.
Embed Microsoft Forms into Sway
Office 365 users can now embed Microsoft Forms into their Sways - letting them put in questionnaires,
surveys or quizzes for viewers of their Sway. For corporations, it can solve as a good knowledge check
after sending a Sway memo. For businesses, it can be a survey to customers within a Sway catalog.
And for teachers, they can add a quiz for their students within a Sway lesson.
Embed Sways into Microsoft Classroom
Teachers and students can embed Sways into Microsoft Classroom. Teachers can put in an

Yammer Integration with Office 365 Groups
One of the most important initiatives is the launch of Yammer and Office 365 Groups which will make
it easier than ever for users to collaborate and be more productive in team settings, as well as across
the organization. This is a major undertaking and involves first architecting the back-end so Yammer
can plug into the Office 365 suite, and then integrating with each of the other workloads. Yammer's
complete integration will take significant development efforts and will be rolling out over time. In the
initial launch, all Yammers networks that have enforced O365 identity, in a 1:1 state (one Yammer
network to one O365 tenant) will be provisioned via AAD (Azure Active Directory) with integrated
access to a SharePoint team site, a SharePoint document library, a OneNote notebook and Planner
for task management.

You’ll be able to customize the usage guidelines for Office 365 Groups – to educate your users about
best practices that help keep their groups effective and their content safe.
Office 365 Planner accessibility
You’ve probably seen contact cards in Outlook. This update brings intelligent, Delve-like experiences
to Office 365 apps (like SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business), right in the context of your
work. When you hover over a person’s name or image, people cards expands to reveal contact
information, organizational relationships and documents they have been working on.People cards
have already begun to appear in Outlook on the web, and they are rolling out now within SharePoint

We are excited to announce the launch of the new OneNote Staff Notebook API for Office 365! We
made it possible to now create OneNote staff notebooks programmatically as well. What this means
is that IT admins, Microsoft Education partners and others can automate the creation and updates of
OneNote staff notebooks across a school or district. This allows for large time savings and efficiency

would get in the calendar such as join the meeting in Skype.

Visio - Enhanced UML diagram support
We are adding 3 UML templates that comply with the latest industry standards: UML 2.5. Customers
can now create:1) a UML Component diagram to show components, ports, interfaces and the
relationships between them; 2) a UML Deployment diagram to show the architecture of a
deployment of software artifacts to nodes;3) a UML Communication diagram to show the
interactions between lifelines that use sequenced messages in a free-form arrangement.

Outlook Customer Manager helps small businesses track and grow relationships with customers right
within Outlook. It gives you a complete view of your interactions with each customer, helps you track
tasks and deals in progress, and surfaces timely reminders – all next to your inbox where you need
these. Now stay on top of your customer relationships, without any need to install or learn separate
tools. Included at no extra cost to Office 365 Business Premium subscribers, Outlook Customer
Manager is a cloud-powered solution designed especially for the needs of small businesses. It is
available in 39 languages in Outlook for Windows, iOS, and on the web. A mobile app for iOS is

We’re improving the way Outlook on the web users interact with Office 365 Groups with a newly
refreshed group card that gives you easy access to all the components of a group, such as
conversations, calendar, notebook, files, planner, and so on. You'll be able to easily join, leave, follow
and un-follow groups at your convenience. Look for more components and features in the future
with our new, refreshed look! It will start gradually rolling out to customers in First Release, and we will
monitor usage and feedback as we continue to increase the usage base that sees the new design.

OneNote collaboration: share a notebook in Windows 10
Now you can share a notebook directly from the OneNote for Windows 10 app to work together with
others
OneNote Grouped inking
OneNote is now smarter about natural grouping points of your pen strokes. You can double tap on
an ink stroke to grab the word. Triple tap, and OneNote will grab the line or group of ink around a
word. You can also right click to group or ungroup a set of strokes. Or use keyboard shortcuts to do
all of this too. Useful in organizing and rearranging your inked notes.
OneNote Universal mobile: audio recording
Now you can record audio notes on Windows mobile
These capabilities include the ability for teachers to create read-only Parent and Guardian links,
Parent and Guardian links, Permissions in the Collaboration Space in
Permissions in the Collaboration Space to allow project based learning, and the ability to remove
OneNote Class Notebook
student content when removing student permissions in a Class Notebook.
