Dear Parents/Guardians
We are excited to be able to offer your child the opportunity to take part in the Christmas Concert and
Carol Service hosted by the Performing Arts department. We have been preparing a Christmas song in
music lessons and are hoping that as many Year 7 students as possible will take part in the two
performances. If your child would like to participate, there will be two afterschool rehearsals as preparation
and your child will be expected to attend both of the rehearsals as well as both of the concerts.
The details are as follows:
Rehearsals: Monday 7 December and Monday 14 December; 3.00pm-3.45pm in Studio 2.
There is a late school bus that leaves the school at 4.00pm. Tickets are available to purchase from student
services in advance.
Christmas Concert: Tuesday 15 December; Performing Arts Centre. Your child should arrive at school by
6.00pm; the concert begins at 7.00pm and will finish at approximately 9.30pm.
Carol Service: Wednesday 16 December; Christ Church, Esher. Your child will be expected at the church by
6.00pm; the service begins at 7.00pm and will finish at approximately 8.00pm.
If you would like your child to take part in the concert and carol service, please complete the attached
consent form and return it to Mrs O’Neil via Student Services marked Year 7 Christmas Singing by Monday
7 December.
You are welcome to attend the Concert and Carol Service; a separate letter will be sent out with further
details.
