Three Simple Ways Your Family Can Earn Money for PCS
We all want to contribute as much as we can to benefit our school but for many of us, the extra money
just isn’t there. In an effort to maximize our shopping efforts AND provide crucial donations, here are
three very simple ideas that won’t require a lot of time but will greatly benefit PCS:
Sign up for and utilize OneCause.com and eScrip.com
Sign up for and utilize the Target REDcard debit card
Sign up for and utilize Raley’s/Bel Air; Nugget/Food4Less; and Safeway loyalty cards
OneCause
OneCause funds PCS by channeling your everyday purchases to well-known merchants and service
providers, who in turn contribute a percentage of every purchase back to PCS. This online community
offers a single place to shop at hundreds of well-known merchants, coupons and deals, and reporting to
track how much has been contributed. When you start your everyday shopping at OneCause.com, you
will contribute up to 20% of every eligible purchase to PCS, at no extra cost to you!
eScrip
eScrip is proven to be a fantastic resource for fundraising where participating business partners
contribute a percentage of purchases to our school. By registering your existing grocery loyalty
(Raley’s/Bel-Air Quality of Life, Nugget/Food4Less, Safeway), debit and credit cards for use in the
program, participating merchants will make contributions to PCS. Your purchases are tracked and
available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child's behalf!
Take Charge of Education with the Target REDcard
The Target REDcard debit card saves you 5% on every Target shopping trip, every day. Take Charge of
Education® and help Target help PCS! They'll donate 1% of your REDcard purchases at Target and
Target.com.
Let’s Begin: How to Sign up
For both OneCause and eScrip, you can go to each website, www.onecause.com and www.escrip.com, and
follow their simple sign up instructions. On both sites you will need to enter Providence Christian School,
or our zip code, 95682, and select the school from the list (for eScrip, you may also use our group ID #
137602308). Follow the step by step instructions and you are all set! Both sites allow you to register the
credit cards and debit cards you normally use. In addition, both sites have downloadable tool bars that
make it easy to track your purchases. Simply download* the tool bars by following their easy
instructions. (*Mac users will need to download the Firefox web browser in order to utilize this function.
It is free to download and can be found at Mozilla.com.)
For the Target REDcard, you can sign up at the store or online at Target.com. Once you receive your
REDcard, you will need to register the card through the Target website and choose Providence Christian
School in order for your purchases to be counted towards the school.
The Raley’s/Bel Air Quality of Life, Nugget/Food4Less, and Safeway grocery loyalty cards are available
from Kellie, our bookkeeper, in the school office. Once you have your card, register it on each store’s
website and designate PCS as your donation recipient.
It’s simple…it’s easy…and the school profits from something you are already doing! Put your family’s
