This pattern comes with 26 different lure templates. I
designed many so that larger quilts could be made
without repeats. This is a favor I am often asked for ☺
Lure appliques have been broken up into sets of two, as
many of them are variencies on each other. Also included
is a diagram with the coresponding block labled in a quilt
outline.
Templates have already been reversed for fusible
applique. Eyes and hooks are the same size for all lures.
If you are hand appliquing please add in seam allowance.
Yardage for the appliqued Lures:
Assorted scraps or fat quarters for the bodies.
1/2 yard of black for eyes, stripes and hooks.
Finished size –
Throw – 62 x 72.5 inches
Finished size –
Twin – 63.5 x 93 inches
Yardage: estimated based on a 44 inch bolt
Base block fabric - 2 ¼ yard
Sashing fabric - 1 yard
sashing square fabric – ¼ yard
Inner border fabric – ¾ yard if pieced
Outer border fabric – 1 ½ yard if pieced
Outer border corner fabric - ¼ yard
Binding total length – 22.5 feet of finished binding

Assembly:
To create the throw sized quilt make rows 1 through 6
To create the twin sized quilt make rows 1 through 8
Feel free to move the lures around in your project! Two spare
lures have been included. 2B and 5B are not used in this
diagram.
Using the diagram for refrence • Sew your applique blocks.
• Sew the blocks into rows of three using the shorter
sashing strips.
• Sew the longer sashing strips to the sashing corner
stones, to make sashing rows.
• Sew the applique rows and the sashing rows together.
• Sew on side inner borders.
• Sew on top and bottom inner borders.
• Sew on side outer borders.
• Sew corner blocks onto top and bottom outer border
strips.
• Sew the top and bottom outer borders on.
