The finest ships in Europe
As the leaders in innovation and design, and due to overwhelming demand, in 2015 we are
launching two new ships, the Scenic Opal and Scenic Jasper sailing the Rhine, Main and Danube
Rivers. Both will boast the largest suites on the rivers and feature one-bedroom Royal Panorama
Suites, a larger gym and wellness area, as well as a Vitality Pool.

France’s ‘sleeping beauty’, Bordeaux, graces the surrounding waterways with its World Heritage
Listed Gothic churches, 19th century factories, 18th century mansions and historic Quartier St
Pierre. With no overnight sailing, our newest cruise through the country’s wine heart passes

The Seine
The Rhine
Breathing life into tiny hamlets and the city of lights, Paris, the Seine is France’s
second longest waterway, although celebrated on its World Heritage-listed
Parisian banks, it also reveals impressionist inspirations, medieval masterpieces,
and post-war architectural genius.
The Rhine is one of the longest rivers of Europe, flowing from the eastern Swiss
Alps to the North Sea coast of The Netherlands. Its many medieval castles and
fortifications stand as a testament to its historical importance.
The Saône
The Main
Rising in the east of France in the Vosges mountains and joining the Rhône at
Lyon, the gentle flow of the Saône offers a relaxing journey through the heart of
France, packed with history, vineyards and gastronomic delights.
Germany’s Main River flows through the states of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg
and Hesse, connected to the Danube River via the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal.
Idyllic vineyards and impressive architecture are among the charms waiting to be

With its source in the Swiss Alps and flowing through some of the most historical
areas of South Eastern France, a journey down the Rhône offers the opportunity to
experience ancient towns, splendid scenery and excellent cuisine.
Inspiring many artistic works, the blue waters of the Danube is Europe’s second
longest river. Flowing from Germany to the Black Sea, through Austria’s Wachau
Valley and the Iron Gate between Serbia and Romania.
The Garonne
The Moselle
Set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrénées mountains this
region offers unparalleled riches. Wide quays curve around the Garonne River past
Gothic churches, tree-lined thoroughfares, 18th century merchant mansions and
the historic Quartier Saint-Pierre.
The stunning Moselle River is a left tributary of the Rhine, which joins in Germany
at Koblenz. The Moselle Valley is famous for its incredible scenery and its worldclass wines, most notably those from the German Mosel wine region.
