Aim: To introduce the visual arts -- how we talk about art, what are
some famous works of art.
Objectives: Terms: color, warm colors, cool colors, Hunters in the
Snow, Pieter Bruegel, Tahitian Landscape, Paul Gauguin, Blue
Atmosphere, Helen Frankenthaler
Material: Color is all around us. When we think of some things, we
think of their colors. When we think of the sky, we think of the color
blue. Grass makes us think of the color green. A school bus makes us
think of yellow. Ketchup makes us think of the color red.
