Sharon J. Ritchey has been involved in the publications industry for over a
decade. A proficient writer, editor, and manager, she has worked for trade
journals, magazines, international corporations, non-profits, and public
relations firms. Her expertise includes writing and editing feature-length
articles, corporate profiles, press releases, marketing materials, newsletters,
bios and resumes, marketing collateral, and Website content. Sharon has
specialized knowledge of the food industry, but is also called upon to create
corporate marketing materials and Websites. She easily changes hats from
researcher, editor, and writer, to publications manager. She has edited books
for the food industry and the renowned SANS Institute, and has interviewed
the Governor of Virginia.
Sharon has experience in the direct marketing and IT industries. She served as
senior writer and public relations coordinator for a direct response advertising
agency, ghost writing feature-length articles, and coordinating the company's
media and press activities. She expanded her writing and editing skills as the
brand manager for an international software company, was responsible
