Analogy
An analogy is a way of comparing things.
Here is an example:
How do the pictures go together?
Milk comes from a cow.
Which other two pictures go together in the same way?
Since eggs come from chickens, then a line would
connect the picture of the eggs with the picture of the
chicken.
Here is another example:
How do these pictures go together?
Moon and spoon rhyme.
What other pictures show rhyming words?
Rat and cat rhyme. Cake and rake rhyme.
A line would connect the other pictures that rhyme.

Homophones
Homophones sound the same, but they have different meanings and
different spellings. Each homophone in this section is used in a sentence
that shows its meaning.

Synonyms and Antonyms
Synonyms are words that mean almost the same thing.
Example: simple and easy
Both words mean something that is not hard to do.
Example: jump and leap
Both words mean to go over something.
Antonyms are words that mean the opposite of each other.
Example: fast and slow
Fast means to do something quickly.
Slow means the opposite or to do something not very quickly.
Example: big and small
Big means something that is large.
Small means something that is not large.
