FoxBox All-inclusive video analysis for perimeter protection The FoxBox, the latest of Foxstream's intrusion detection range, combines multiple benefits as it is a recorder, data-storage & data-transmitter all-in-one, while keeping the analytical power of the server-based solution. The purpose of this packaged, readyto-use solution is to make accessible the latest technological advances in the field of intelligent video analysis to everyone. The FoxBox consists in an “all-in-one” solution. It combines both hardware and software: the hardware required for the video stream acquisition, recording, feedback of events, etc., with the outdoor intrusion detection analytics software, including tools used to review and broadcast recordings and events. And always, the guarantee of a reliable solution and a very low false alarm rate. Based on the same software as the FoxVigi serverbased suite, the FoxBox's video analysis is the result of close collaboration with CNRS imaging laboratories and numerous field experiences. The use and ergonomics of the system have been designed to provide users with a Plug’n Play solution. A simple web browser is all that is needed to access the FoxBox's web interface to set parameters, display, event log consultation and video playback. The default configuration provides users with an active and functional system simply by connecting the cameras to the FoxBox. Alarms may be transmitted in parallel via the network and/or via On/Off outputs. Detection of all moving objects in the camera's field of view. It is meant to provide users with a reliable solution, and an extremely low rate of false alarms. It includes the same steps as the FoxVigi application: Classification & Filtering (real vs oversized and immaterial objects: shadows on the ground, reflections, etc.) Alarm feedbacks to operator Site protection by video doubt removal The FoxBox is a perfect solution for sites and multi-site companies with centralised surveillance, as well as for small and medium sized sites without existing surveillance, since it includes all the logistics required to forward events to any Monitoring station. The FoxBox offers the availability of video sequences on a ftp and remains compatible with the ESI software suite (V1), for an immediate video doubt removal. It also allows the site manager, or any authorised person, to consult remotely the live, the event logs and recordings, simply and intuitively using an Internet browser (IE, FireFox, Chrome...). The operator can thus take action and call for law enforcement, as the video clip of the alarm sent by the FoxBox is a tangible proof, according to the article L613-6 of the Internal Security Code (in France - for other countries, different laws may apply).
