Program Guidelines
Medieval Madness
Palmerston Library will be running a holiday program during January 2nd 2013
– through to 25th January 2013, with registration day on Monday December 31
2012. It will be aimed at members aged 4-12 years. The theme for the program
is Medieval Madness.
Participants will be rewarded for attendance at activities, undertaking home
activity and when they borrow items from the library.
REGISTRATION: Monday 31st December 2012 at 10am
Medieval Madness will encourage the children to explore more about life in the
medieval era. Through the workshops and the small activities the children will
learn about life in the medieval era such as dance, poetry writing, stained glass
art, jester tricks and many more. At the end of the program there will be a
banquet/ costume party where prizes will be rewarded for the best costumes
using principles learnt throughout the program.
Registration & Rules

Registration to the program is $5.00 per person or $15.00 for 3 or more
children in one family and each member will receive a library bag with
Medieval Madness program information.

Program participants for the holiday program will receive stamps/
stickers for attending activities in the library, and when activity sheets
have been completed.

After 4 stamps/stickers in their art ‘Manuscript’, registered members
can take a prize from the Treasure Box.

Program participants for the holiday program will also receive stamps
for borrowing items in their Frillies booklets – when they have
3 stickers in their Frillies booklets they can choose a prize from the
Treasure Box.

The ‘Manuscript’ entitles participants to attend all activities.
The banquet and the costume party will be great fun for all of you to be
creative based on the medieval era. So make sure you come to the party and
be awesome!
