Volunteer
Opportunities
Here are a few areas where CPC needs help.
Would you give it a try?
Vacation Bible School
VBS 2017 – “Son World Theme Park” will be held June 1922 in cooperation with Park Church. Begin to think now
about what you might like to do. Volunteers are needed to
work with kids as well as behind the scenes.
Hospitality Team
Our Hospitality team would like to add one more church
member to assist in our planning. We meet 3–4 times per
year for planning and then assist at special events. Please
see one of the following people if you have interest in joining
the team; Jeff Bosma, Marla & Jim Zeedyk, Ellen Hossink,
Carol VanBruggen or James Stam.
Prayer Chain Coordinator
The prayer chain coordinator receives prayer requests by
phone or email and puts them out on the email prayer chain.
The church office will take care of Prayer Chains during office
hours, the Prayer Chain Coordinator will take care of nights
and weekends. This is a task that can be done at your
computer in your home. Talk to Lonna Bruischart or Pastor
Kevin with questions or to volunteer.
Anniversary Planning Team
Last call for volunteers before planning meetings begin in
early April. This fall begins the 100th anniversary of our
church’s move to Central Park. We will be planning a series
of events that mark the occasion and remind our community
that we love being here. Would you be willing to help plan
those events? We have several volunteers, but would
welcome more. See Pastor Kevin to join the team.
